Did boxer Floyd Mayweather throw FAKE $ 100 bills into the crowd at an appearance at an Atlanta nightclub this weekend?
The website sandrarose.com says an Atlanta man was almost arrested after trying to use one of the hundreds he caught at the appearance at a local gas station. The bill turned out to be counterfeit.
The site speculates that members of Mayweather’s crew may have switched out a stack of real money for the counterfeit bills and pocketed the cash.
A similar incident reportedly happened in Las Vegas where Mayweather’s crowd money turned out to be fake.
