JOEL ZUMAYA IS STILL ROCKING

 

Despite having a $ 138 million payroll, the Detroit Tigers are off to a horrible 1-8 start. One of the team’s major problems has been its bullpen.

The team is looking to get back injured setup man, Joel Zumaya, a key member of their 2006 World Series run. That year Zumaya featured a near 100 mph fastball. He struck out 97 batters in 83 innings and had an ERA under 2.00.

Since then Zumaya has been plagued by a series of injuries. Last year Zumaya famously  injured himself by playing the video game Guitar Hero.

This spring Zumaya is injured again. And now people are angry about a series of photos of Zumaya that have been released on the internet. Zumaya is shown giving a new meaning to the phrase “rehab” by chugging beer straight out of a keg.

 

Oh well, at least Zumaya’s injuries haven’t slowed down his Guitar Hero abilities:
