CBS TV REPORTER LARA LOGAN IS A HOMEWRECKER

June 26, 2008

LARA LOGAN

When CBS tv named Lara Logan their “foreign affairs” correspondent I don’t think this is what they had in mind.

Logan’s sex life is so out of control it has landed her on the pages of the National Enquirer. The Enquirer recently ran a story about Logan’s affair with a US State Department contractor. The contractor’s wife recently filed for divorce and took an overdose of valium. The Enquirer article blames Logan,

“Kimberly believes Lara stole her husband – and now they’re trying to steal her little girl.”

Unfortunately, Logan was also cheating on the contractor, sleeping with CNN star reporter Michael Ware. Ware and the contractor apparently got into a fistfight over Logan’s affections at a Baghdad safehouse. Logan has also been romantically linked to tv reporter Mark Olivier.

Did I mention that Lara Logan is MARRIED?

Logan does have a bit of a unique background for a hard “news” reporter. She’s a former swimsuit model.

Not your typical photo for a 60 Minutes correspondent. Something tells me that’s not how Dan Rather or Mike Wallace got their jobs. Logan just dyed her hair blonde and viola! Welcome network news.

Logan managed to get into all this trouble while being stationed in IRAQ. Just think. If she’d been the foreign affairs correspondent in Paris there might be 30 guys.

NO MORE TV FOR MIKE WALLACE

June 13, 2008

MIKE WALLACE

Veteran tv journalist Mike Wallace, who rose to fame with the tv news magazine “60 Minutes,” is not coming back to television. The announcement was made by Wallace’s son, tv newsman Chris Wallace.

The elder Wallace turned 90-years-old this month. He had retired from “60 Minutes” in 2006 and was working as a “Correspondent Emeritus” with CBS.

Wallace was probably the toughest interviewer in television history. He won 20 Emmy Awards in his career including a Lifetime Achievement award. Wallace was famous for his ambush interviews at “60 Minutes.”

Wallace began his career as a radio voice for shows like The Green Hornet. His primary source of income in the early 60’s was doing commercials for Parliament cigarettes.
