Sporting News Today has a feature on former Creighton pitcher Pat Venditte being selected to the New York-Penn All-Star Game.
Venditte is the first truly ambidextrous pitcher in professional baseball history. Pitching for Staten Island in the New York Yankees system, Venditte has put up some very impressive numbers. He has 16 saves and 29 strikeouts in 25 2/3 innings. Venditte has an ERA of 0.93 pitching left-handed and 1.29 as a righty.
