Tuesday was quite an eventful day for Texas Rangers closer C.J. Wilson and none of those events worked out for the quirky lefthander.
First, Wilson gave up a grand slam to the worthless Richie Sexson of the Yankees. This led to him literally being booed off the mound by Rangers fans. Then Wilson tried to show up old-school manager Ron Washington when he came out to remove the struggling lefty. Wilson disgustedly flipped the ball at Washington. Washington made Wilson come back and HAND him the baseball. Then the team punished Wilson by stashing him on the disabled list right after the game.
At this point Wilson is probably a better blogger than he is a closer. In fact, here’s just a partial list of things C.J. Wilson can do better than playing baseball:
