STRIPPER FROM DUKE LACROSSE CASE GETS COLLEGE DEGREE

DUKE LACROSSE ACCUSER AND COLLEGE GRAD, CRYSTAL MANGUM

The woman who falsely accused a group of Duke lacrosse players of rape has graduated college from North Carolina Central University.

Here’s an interesting piece of trivia from the article announcing Mangum’s graduation: Turns out (from court records) when Mangum went to do her rape kit she had the semen of at least nine different men on her-NONE OF THEM DUKE LACROSSE PLAYERS.

…court records indicating Mangum had DNA from two unidentified men in her rectum; two more in her pubic region; one man in her vagina; and four to five men on her panties-none of whom were lacrosse players (a physical impossibility because Mangum said her attackers wore no condoms during the “rape”.

What did the stripper earn her degree in? Police Psychology (of course.)

Sounds like she will make a fine addition to the work force. She has multitasking down. In any event, hopefully, she has or will get her life together.

Like retoxicate, I hope Ms. Mangum gets her life together. Whatever beliefs about herself or the world were behind both the apparently false accusation and the evidence of totally giving herself away to nine men in a short period of time–well, I hope she finds a way to drop those beliefs.

  3. Erin Says:

To clarify: I don’t mean that racism and abuse are just fantasies “and, gee, if only Ms. Mangum could drop them!” Racism is a big problem in this country, as is abuse.

What I mean is that we all have to navigate our way through. How we navigate depends on what we believe; if Ms. Mangum can find reasons to see her own value, regardless of what has happened in her life, then she drops beliefs that she has to have these horrible experiences.

Apparently the rape accusation was false, but the evidence exists that nine men (not the lacrosse men) had had sex with her in a short span of time. No woman who believes she has value makes herself so usable. Ms. Mangum has to come to a point where she sees herself as not that person.
