People magazine continues its endless shilling for America’s Prostitute, Ashley Alexandra Dupre. For some inexplicable reason, the celebrity mag has went out of its way to portray the scandalized prostitute in an incredibly favorable light.
People has been a virtual PR machine for the Happy Hooker. Last week they ran a story about a spa trip she took with mommy. Past articles have included glowing conversations with former classmates of Dupre’s (not easy since she’s a ninth grade dropout), and reports of her middle school gymnastics career.
Now People is promoting a possible reality show featuring Dupre and celebrity/reality tv icon, Donald Trump.
In a concept called “Lady or a Tramp” Trump will attempt to transform Dupre from a filthy, drunken, call girl into a “lady.”
Good luck with that.

We are now heading into week 2 of the Ashley Alexandra Dupre saga. Slowly, we are finding out more and more details about the life of America’s Favorite Hooker. It was just yesterday, for example, that we found out that Dupre took topless photographs. She posed for the pictures for money.
In fact, after one week, here’s just a partial list of things we now know Dupre was willing to do for money.
Sleep with men
Sleep with women
Have unprotected sex (for enough money)
Take her clothes off
Take her top off
Go on lengthy “vacations” with older foreign men
Spend a week on a bus with Joe Francis
Well, it turns out that Miss Dupre was willing to do more than this for the right amount of money. A LOT more.

Celebrity City describes itself as a website of “Famous and Infamous Persons of Interest in NYC.”
They have posted a story this week that claims hooker, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, LET MEN PAY HER SO THAT THEY COULD EAT HER DIRTY, USED TAMPONS.
Whew! Good thing Dupre was a high class prostitute. Otherwise, she might have had to do some pretty degrading, vile and disgusting things for her money.

People magazine features a profile piece this week on famed hooker, Ashley Alexandra Dupre. It’s complete swill.
I haven’t seen such an unholy piece of puff journalism since People ran an obituary of Oprah’s dog entitled, “Oprah Winfrey’s Beloved Golden Retriever Dies.”
Despite writing about a PROSTITUTE, People manages to come up with the following testimonials about Dupre:
“Ashley was a good girl.”
“She was a sweetheart, everyone loved her.”
“She had a good heart.”
“She was a normal cool girl.”
“I would put her better than a lot of girls.”
“She was a beautiful girl.”
“She got along with everybody.”
I seriously doubt that Mother Theresa got press this good.
People blames her parents divorce and the arrest of her drug dealer brother for Dupre’s descent into whoredom,
“…she wanted her real family. She wanted her real father and her mother together and her brother back in the house. She wanted everybody under the same roof.”
Well, that and the jealousy of her peers,
“She was the hottest girl in town when she was here and all the other girls gave her hell,” People quotes a former boyfriend as saying. “They were jealous. The girls wouldn’t hang out with her. It was ridiculous. The girls here were really mean to her.”

The thing about cheap publicity stunts is they’re supposed to APPEAL to your customers.
Yesterday, Playgirl followed in the footsteps of their male magazine counterparts. Playgirl announced they would offer scandalized former New York governor, Eliot Spitzer, the chance to pose nude in their magazine.
As a heterosexual male, I’m not exactly Playgirl’s target audience. However, I feel safe in speaking for both women and gay men in saying NOBODY WANTS TO SEE ELIOT SPITZER NAKED.
The stunt did work on one level. I didn’t know playgirl magazine even existed anymore.
Now, maybe if Playgirl could get another politician, someone who looked a bit better with their shirt off…
