Former NBA star, Kevin Johnson’s bid to be Mayor of Sacramento may have hit a bump in the road.
And it’s not just those pesky slumlord allegations.
As far back as last October, deadspin.com was running embarrassing stories about KJ.
And you’ve gotta ask yourself just who runs for mayor in a city where the daily newspaper ran an investigative series on you entitled, “Neglect Taints a Star’s Legacy?”
And then there was that 16-year-old girl back in ’95…
“He [Johnson] said I could sleep in his room or the guesthouse and I chose the guesthouse. . . . We got into the bed and he took all of my clothes off and all of his but his shirt. He was on top of me touching me all over–my breasts, butt, in between my legs, and stomach. Then he took off his shirt. I didn’t really know what to do–I was very confused because I thought we were friends, but I didn’t know what else to do than to go along with it. . . . He told me to pinky-promise not to say anything and when I asked why, he said I knew why.”
A graphic 1997 article in the Phoenix Times detailed alleged inappropriate behavior between Johnson and the then 16-year-old girl. The article describes Johnson and the girl engaging in naked hugs, showering together and sleeping in the same bed naked.
Now that’s the type of faith-based mentoring you can’t get just anywhere!

all i would ask is that you tell the full story. kevin johnson has been the only person in 6 decades to invest his time and energy in oak park and has transformed not only the economic landscape with substantial development projects he has taken the public school to a new level and now most students graduate and more than 70% go on to a 4 year college. the properties cited were — as he has admitted — not properly maintained, and his development team has brought all of them up to code within the past 4 months. no one is perfect, but kj is highly credible, articulate, and totally committed to helping people. instead of sensationalizing non-stories we should be supportive of people who actually do something to make our lives better…

I find it wickedly ironic that a group of plumbers and pipefitters–whose livelihoods are predicated on clearing up sh$#–would be the ones to paint out town with it this election season. Yikes. Guess we know what they’ve been doing with all that sh$#.
Evidently not. At the end of the day, those flinging sh$% about Kevin Johnson our standing in the sewer, and if you are supporting them, you are standing right down there with them. Please help us dig our city out of the sewer. I am so sick of this sh#$ (pardon the pun) joesacramento.com

Redo (this time not dyslexic) I find it wickedly ironic that a group of plumbers and pipefitters–whose livelihoods are predicated on clearing up sh$#–would be the ones to paint the town with it this election season. Yikes. Guess we know what they’ve been doing with all that sh$#.
And you wouild think the pipefitters would know a good “fit” when the saw one. Evidently not.
